Natalia Barroso is an engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, with significant experience in international construction arbitration. Before becoming involved in delay analysis for dispute resolution purposes, she worked as a project engineer and lead planning engineer for over 16 years on engineering and construction mega projects.
Since 2016, she has assisted appointed delay expert witnesses across a broad spectrum of energy, oil & gas, mining, and infrastructure projects. She is currently Senior Director at FTI Consulting in Dubai, U.A.E.
Natalia holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Master of Laws from Robert Gordon University, and an MBA from IE Business School.
In addition to this, from a very young age, she has been involved in a variety of sports, which gave her the opportunity to work in diverse, male-dominated, and culturally varied environments, where she learned to embrace and value the importance of diversity in teams.
