Asif Shafi

Asif Shafi is the Senior Vice President, Managing Director – Civil Infrastructure and Program Management in Middle East and Africa. He oversees the growth, financial and operational performance of both business lines, with over 2,500 employees. Asif has over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of complex projects across multiple sectors including highways, rail, aviation, water and buildings.

He is a professional engineer licensed in Texas, USA. He holds an MS in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA and an MBA from XLRI, India. He is a member of CEO Circle, which is AECOM’s executive leadership program delivered in partnership with Wharton Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania.
